Cool, eh?

I'm on route to Calgary to play the Ironwood Grill, and then concerts and workshops at the Calgary International Blues Festival. This should be a fun trip, and there's not much driving involved. Left the truck with my mechanic in the Big Smoke for pick-up on Tuesday- want to make sure all is ship shape before we head out on the Big Road. Diva Embroidery of Seaforth, Ontario, delivered the tour jackets this week and I'm really, really pleased with them. Thanks Gayle and John! Dave and I will be raffling off the jackets at our shows. They are very cool. To see one is to want one! They are all on black satin and feature the Big Road Blues Tour logo richly embroidered over the full backs.
Ucluelet, BC called in for a date today, so that's great, too. Now I've got to go and get press releases moving for the first bunch of shows on the East Coast. — Doc MacLean
